Hiring a car is just like everything else in my life, a royal pain in the bum. Who would have thought that a large city like Sydney would prove to be so difficult in the car hiring business? My own car is in the garage. I say I wrecked it; my husband says I drove it into a wall. That is like comparing apples to oranges if you ask me. Anyway, back to the car hiring ordeal. I wanted to compare car hire companies to see who has the best deal. The first place I called I kindly explained to them my scenario. I was going to be without my car for at least 8 days and wanted to know what they could do for me. They offered me a few cars none of which I would be caught dead in. Onto the next place where I was told the best they could offer was a Ford Mustang, who do they think I am? Finally the 5th place I called said they could hire me a Lexus. A Lexus is more my style. I pick it up tomorrow.
